The LifeSaver Jerrycan is a durable and portable water purifier that can purify up to 20,000 litres (5,300 US gallons) of clean drinking water, instantly removing viruses, bacteria, cysts, and parasites.
The Jerrycan includes a replaceable Activated Carbon Disc designed to reduce chemicals and heavy metals, as well as eliminate bad taste and odour, effective for up to 500 litres. The Activated Carbon Discs, used in all LifeSaver products, have been rigorously tested to demonstrate excellent and consistent reduction of heavy metals and chemicals, including chlorine, lead, nickel, and cadmium, throughout their stated lifespan. They also improve taste and odour.
The water remains safe to consume even without an Activated Carbon Disc installed. Independently tested to exceed NSF P248 compliance standards for virus, bacteria, and protozoan cyst reduction by the US Army Public Health Center (MEDCOM), the LifeSaver Jerrycan ensures the highest levels of purification. It features a failsafe automatic indicator that signals when the cartridge needs replacement.

The Lifesaver Jerrycan retails £369.97 which when you look at how much water it can purify (on one filter) it works out to cost around 2 pence per litre.
