Day Bag

I love spending time in the woods. Here is a list of what goes in my Day bag (give or take a few bits depending on what I am planning to do).
I generally take my dd frontline hammock and tarp really just to practice using in various different ways and the rest of the items

  • Bushcraft axe
  • Pukko knife
  • Bahco Laplander saw
  • Folding bow saw
  • Kuksa
  • Fire lighting kit
  • Fatwood and tinder
  • Coffee making kit and a cup-a-soup
  • Swiss army stove
  • Sit mat
  • First aid kit

It’s really just a case of streamlining kit some times stuff goes in and then other stuff comes out. I like the Swiss stove as I basically carry a bottle of water and the means to make a brew and it’s not excessively heavy

The cup for the Swiss stove is big enough to hold a tin of beans etc so is big enough to make a meal in.

    1. Snow camping is great although here in the UK we don’t really get snow anymore. I’m hoping for some this winter but not keeping my hopes up! I’ve got a weekend planned in early December.
