I love woollen socks as my main sock whether its merino wool or not.
Wool has some really good properties, most importantly is warm (even when wet), absorbs sweat, robust and dries fairly quickly.

Made from 90% Norwegian wool 10% nylon they are warm without being too bulky and it’s stretchy with a comfy fit.
The natural wool fibres allow the feet to breathe, and it wicks moisture away, so the feet stay fresh and dry.

The Ragg Sock or “Raggsocka” is also called “Tjocksocka” in the north of Scandinavia. In the winter it is preferred to wear over ordinary socks.
Originally the Ragg socks were knitted from wool mixed with getragg (goat hair) to increase durability, hence the name.
In the Nordic countries, it’s common that children are dressed in wool from an early age to keep them dry and warm.

Inner socks have always been worn with Ragg Socks, as the wool can be scratchy. Personally with my Hobbit feet I didn’t find them to scratchy.

Made with a lot of GOTS certified organic cotton and additional polyester from recycled PET bottles, pollutant-free, fair trade and sustainable.
Cotton is not great at wicking moisture away. What this means is you are allowing your feet to keep moist which in term will help blisters develop.

What environments are the Lykke Ragg Socks suited to?
Personally, for me, these socks are perfect for leather boots. If you wear a leather boot like the Lundhags Vandra, these socks are perfect.
This type of boot is built to last and deal with any wet environment, but they have no insulation properties.
Whether you out on a bushcraft moot, hiking through wet forest or fishing along the river these socks will last and do you proud.
